"One of the Thousand - At first i heard the glorious singing from the congregation during an Easter service. Then returned for a visit. Huge inside like a cathedral in places. A well stocked bookshop and detailed history make this a visit for all sorts of reasons. The best part for me was seeing how this priory is alive inside. Met a member of the congregation who was flush with the love for her faith. I’m not religious but it was great to see that joy. Also an original ducking stool, very rare in Britain and a 10ft lion. What’s not to love."

"A fabulous Parish Church in wonderful Leominster.
Well worth a visit.
We listened to the peel of bells ~ magnificent."

"Somewhat set back from the town, this is a really great and interesting building. Rather than add replacement gothic arches to the Romanesque building, the monks simply built a new nave alongside so that we get to see both styles at the same time. The result is an enormous airy space which is filled with artefacts such as the town’s ducking stool and a number of lovely modern tapestries depicting the church’s history. On top of this there is plenty of carving of the Herefordshire school of sculpture. Not to be missed."
