A little look round the transport museum. An old bus, tram and disabled car. And then an old horse and carriage with model people. Some of them looked really uncomfortable. I'm pleased my humans have a comfortable car. #stuffedbear #teddybear #bearsofinstagram #bearsonanadventure #stuffiecommunity #plushiecommunity #transport

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Streetlife Museum for its impressive collection of vintage transport and the immersive 1940s street scene, especially considering it's free to enter. While some note the parking can be inconvenient, the overall experience is highly recommended for all ages.

"Just like in my home city of Glasgow, museums in Hull are free. I'd so wanted to see their maritime museum, but it's closed for refurbishment, so I'll have to return in the spring. Anyway, there's more than enough to fill a couple of hours at the Streetlife museum.
Lots of old transport to see, a nice recreated street scene from the 60's, plus a ride in a Royal Mail coach. Although I have a French (and Spanish) degree, I never knew that 'chauffeur' is the French word for stoker, as in the lackey who fed the fire in the steam-powered cars of the early 1800's. Every day is a learning day, even at 72!"

"Excellent and was lovely to sit out in the sunshine, whilst viewing the statues."

Amanda Gonsalves

"Really surprised at this place considering it was free, there was loads to see on a part with some bigger museums, the only downside was it's location which was nowhere near any decent parking (not a problem normally but it was raining heavily the day we went), but we or not it was good👍"
