Reviews Summary

Visitors find King Arthur's Round Table to be an interesting historical site, particularly for its ancient burgh nature and proximity to Mayburgh Henge. While some are disappointed by the lack of a literal 'round table' and the impact of a road, others appreciate the educational value and the opportunity to use their imagination. It's best enjoyed by those with a keen interest in history and archaeology. Reddit+1

"Great to see if you are in the area and interested in neolithic history/monuments. If so, you can park in the layby near Mayburgh Henge which is well signposted and see both at the same time.
If you're not really interested in history, then I don't recommend you go. There's very little to actually see especially as part of the monument was destroyed by the road."

Gabi (I Found The Latrine)

"Not really much to see. Just a field with a couple of mounds. Information board shows where it was but that's about it. Easy parking found just down the road at the millennium rock just a couple of minutes walk and next to the Henge so you can have a look at both at the same time."

Nathan Smith

"We visited King Arthur’s Round Table when visiting Penrith. It was very interesting to see and extremely educational for someone like myself who enjoys history. Our local guide (one of my best mates) thought this was a henge, but it turned out it was actually a Round Table. We loved our visit and the history of this landmark."
