"This structure is among the most ancient towers on the southwest coast. It's presently leased to guests seeking short-term, self-catering accommodations. One can only envision the breathtaking sunsets, sunrises, and nocturnal vistas from this edifice."
Jack Clement
"Distinctive folly built in 1830, enjoying a fine vantage point overlooking Kimmeridge Bay. The tower was at risk of being claimed by coastal erosion, so in the early 2000s was carefully dismantled and rebuilt further from the cliff edge.
The tower isn't open to visitors as it's let out for holidays by the Landmark Trust - I haven't stayed but it would surely make for an unforgettable break. You can still walk past the tower and see it from outside - access is via some steep steps from the bay."
Andrew Thomas
"Not a review of the accommodation as haven't stayed there. The tower's location is spectacular. Originally built in 1830-1 it was dismantled and rebuild further back from the cliff edge in 2005-8 by the Landmark Trust. They now let it for self catering holidays. Steep path up from the smaller of the Kimmeridge Bay car parks, by the slipway."
