"A very expansive National Trust property... external grounds of 6,000 acres have some hard pathways for wheelchair users but access to the house is restricted to the able bodied...on our visit the 1920's were highlighted by a display of mainly ladies dresses, shoes and bags, with programs and a variety of adverts of the time...there is a working organ and piano in the music room with also a dining room and library... outside are the house and courtyard cafés, shop... excellent parking with electric vehicle charging."
