Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Kibble Palace for its stunning architecture, diverse plant collections, and the therapeutic atmosphere it provides. Many highlight the free entry as a major draw, making it an accessible and enjoyable experience for all. While parking can be a drawback due to cost, the overall beauty and tranquility of the glasshouse make it a highly recommended visit in Glasgow.

"Kibble Place, one of the two botanical houses within the Glasgow Botanic Gardens, is one of the most recognizable buildings due to its striking white and tall dome, visible from far away.

Inside, the climate is more moderate, almost identical to the outside. The greenhouse is vast and beautiful, with a spread-out flow that allows for a sense of freedom. Marble statues add a touch of Greek style to the space. The central dome, housing larger plants, is surreal and awe-inspiring.

Overall, I highly recommend visiting Kibble Place and spending at least an hour exploring. It’s definitely worth your time, and there are plenty of opportunities to capture memorable photos. The best part? It’s free to enter!"

"Lovely place to visit, especially if you're within walking distance. Unfortunately there is only street parking, which is quite expensive. Through the Ringo App. The grounds are a nice place to chill on a hot afternoon. The glasshouses are very interesting and at least they are free or at least a donation. There is also a tea room which does some lovely food. A bit controversial as their scones are not true scones, that's not to say they weren't nice. They were more like fruit buns. It certainly doesn't detract from anything. Overall a lovely experience"

"One of the highlights, the very top of the list, of my first visit to Glasgow. The Glasgow Botanical Garden is a must visit, whatever your interests maybe, and there is so much history there. It was great seeing familiar plants from Africa as well as several other exotic ones. Sitting there in the tropical environment of Kibble palace was truly therapeutic and I could have almost forgotten that I was in Scotland. I can not recommend this place enough."
