Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Inversnaid Falls for its stunning beauty, especially after rain, and its picturesque setting on Loch Lomond. The short, accessible walk from the car park is a plus, though some note the remote, single-track road access can be challenging. The opportunity for wild swimming and the overall serene atmosphere are frequently highlighted.

"If you are keen to explore part of Loch Lomond without a long hike, take the boat from Tarbet and book a trip to Inversnaid (Inversnaid Explorer) ; there’s a return about 75 mins later or you could stay longer. Inversnaid Falls can be seen as the boat approaches the jetty but is a lot more interesting when you take the path at the back of the Inversnaid Hotel. There hasn’t been much rain of late so the waterfall was rather reduced but still worth a visit.
I would advise wearing strong shoes and walking with a pole as the climb up is very uneven and as the path is quite narrow and popular you are likely to meet other explorers fairly often."

Anne Marie Stagg

"Long winding round to get there but only a minute walk from the car park and you can see an absolutely beautiful waterfall. Recommend"

Jacob Taylor

"Nice waterfall going into loch lomond, it's a bit remote last 15 miles on single track road, which we just managed in a 6 metre motorhome, not the best journey. Be better by car."
