What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Redbridge Cycling Centre for its safe and fun environment, particularly for families learning to cycle. The BMX track and dedicated road circuit are highlights, complemented by friendly staff and convenient facilities like parking and on-site food. However, some reviewers noted issues with customer service responsiveness and unexpected track closures.
"This is the best cycling centre I've ever been to! I brought my own bike and went on the BMX pump track and I learnt a few things and I did jumps and one other time that I went I went round the park on my bike and it was very relaxing."
Sammy Grantham
"This is a nice place to take friends and family if you want to add some variety to your weekends. It's also a great place if you have kids who want to learn bike riding in a safe environment.
I hired 4 bikes that come with a helmet. Adults pay £14.50 per bike and for children, it's £12.50. The prices are cheaper if you bring your bike. We had to wait for about 30 minutes at the counter before we were served as it was busy and there were only 2 staff dealing with customers. The staff were super friendly.
There is no time cap, so you can continue riding until they close, which is at 5 p.m. They have a road track (no vehicles) and a dirt track for those who want a more challenging track.
I enjoyed the day overall and just hoped that there were more tracks available. After about 10 minutes of riding, you've done the entire road track and you end up just repeating it.
It was a fun day and I'll add this place to my list of places that we can visit if the weather is good.
As an FYI - you can also privately hire this place if you have a group event and then you have the place all to yourself."

"This looks like a good place, but, be careful. We arrived there today to be told that the road track is out-of-action for the foreseeable future, pending refurbishment. There is no mention of this on the website, and when I phoned beforehand to see if the place was open, there was no answer and the phone just rang out. When I reported this to the person to approached me as I arrived - she issued a rather suspicious and curt, "Can I help you?" - she didn't apologise but explained that the phone doesn't get answered "when we are outside...". This place has the potential to be great - and I'm sure it is - but some aspects of its customer service infrastructure need a bit of work..."
