"Fantastic area for dog walks, lots of different paths,not always signposted but it's difficult to get lost. Lots of seats scattered around,very peaceful place. There is a busier area near the lake and the cafe, but you can also find seclusion.
Have been here in summer and winter, shaded areas in summer, some muddy areas in winter,but there are also hard pathways. Something for everyone.
Large carpark, make sure you put visitors centre into sat nav, as there is a smaller carpark which is on the opposite side and only has 4 spaces.
