What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wroxham Bridge is a picturesque and lively spot on the Norfolk Broads, praised for its scenic river views and boat activity. Visitors enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and accessibility, though some find food and ice cream prices to be quite high. Service can occasionally be slow during busy periods.
"We bought a delicious pork bap and a baguette from Oh Crumbs, close to the bridge & sat by the bridge watching the swans & geese while we ate. Lovely place to sit and relax, and it was a real sun trap. Occasionally, a broads boat would cruise past adding to the relaxing atmosphere. This is not far from Roy's of Wroxham, which sell just about everything. Prices in some of the ice cream and fish & chips shops were extortionate, but then it is a tourist hot spot, so it's understandable. Vehicles travelling over the bridge generally go slow, so we didn't find it noisy. The only reason I dropped a star is because of the prices, £6.50 for an ice cream cone is too much. A family of 4 can't be expected to spend £26 on ice cream cones 🤔. That said, this place is definitely worth a visit. Just check the prices as some are better than others.
Just a note; this place is remarkably wheelchair accessible. 👍
Be cautious driving over the bridge as sometimes articulated lorries are travelling in the opposite direction, and there has to be a certain amount of giving way. We were in a motorhome, and we stopped to let the lorry through, allowing him more space."

"Charming place with lots to do and see.
Excellent train and bus services to other Norfolk delights. However I recommend you don't go there as I don't want it to get overcrowded."
