What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Lookout is praised for its convenient location on Holkham Beach and its role as a visitor centre for the nature reserve, offering wildlife viewing opportunities. While appreciated for its amenities like toilets and water fountains, some visitors find the food prices high and staff service inconsistent.
"Interesting building, nicely done. There is clean drinking water, there are 4 toilets-free, there is a lot of space to sit inside. There is a restaurant where you can order a hot tea, coffee or fresh juice.
Buy something to eat, the prices are expensive- sandwiches from £4.50-5.50, (better to take food from home).
You can buy ice cream.
In the restaurant there is a farmhouse from which you can watch birds."

"Spent some time at this fabulous beach, as walking back to car popped in for a cold drink and snack. I was charged for paper cup as I didn't want to drink from carton. Food was limited and staff I found quite rude. I was told to use the rubbish/recycling bin outside as just changed the bags inside!?"

"Nice cafe and fantastic views to the nature reserve. They have a fountain to refill water bottles and bowls for the dogs. Toilets available and popular! Plenty of seating with information on local wildlife."
