While the park offers sports facilities and a pleasant environment, some visitors note that the toilet facilities could be better maintained.
"Nice place for a short walk. Good new loos.
Tennis and bowls available by appointment"

"Fantastic playground for the kids. 3 climbing frames with slides for different ages. Swings, roundabout, seesaws all surrounded by sand. Even some toys were left out to play with. Looked to be a toilet block, but didnt use them. Didn't get a chance to explore rest of park as just stayed in the playground. Shame it doesn't appear to have a car park. There were a few spaces on the road The Avenues which were free for 2 hours."
Bel Ballantyne
"A wonderful park with many things to do, a nice area for children to be able to exert some energy. Also having two tennis courts which you can pay to use at most any time throughout the week. It is in a good location. Not that far from many housing estates around the local area, during the summer it will be a nice place to have a picnic with the open green space. They're all toilets on the site. These are not that well maintained but when you have to go they are useful"
