The on-site bakery and brewery are highlights, offering delicious homemade treats and local ales. "A good day out. The cafe served pasties that we're absolutely wonderful...all made on site, oh! And the cakes - no short measures here!
The windmill and exhibits were interesting and informative. It certainly kept the 8yr old engaged. The steps inside the windmill are steep so in my opinion not really suitable for people who have mobility issues or the very young...but like I say, in my opinion.
The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. All in all a good day out."

Deborah Smith

"A great experience all round! The staff are absolutely lovely! We enjoyed a pot of tea (several) I had a very tasty homemade Quiche (which the staff very kindly warmed up for me on request) which came with a side salad and some pasta in very tasty sauce, & coleslaw. My friends had a delicious ploughman’s lunch. Then later, we returned for an amazing Scone with jam & clotted cream! (& more tea!) My dog Lenny was made to feel very welcome. We highly recommend! We also enjoyed a real ale in the Brewery (Beer Festival) on site too! Great day all round!"

Wendy Smith
