"A peaceful church at the north end of the village. Within the grounds is a conservation area that holds the resting places of a number of Great War soldiers.

We got a very friendly reception from the vicar and a small group who were sorting out some church business. They were very happy to let us in and show us around. Understated yet very pretty interior, with information about the villages connection to Pocahontas. The church is currently having it’s bell restored, hence the scaffolding outside, that will be blessed in September (2024)"

"Whilst we are not generally church goers, a visiting relation had wanted to attend service. The Church was full. Both the local community as well as visitors.
Many stayed behind for tea and biscuits and to chat. There were people from all walks of life. A friendly bunch.
My partner and I had had a wander around the grounds. Peaceful and quiet and very calming."

Jacqueline Merralls

"A lovely church, and quite large. A lot of local history can be seen and read about. It was nice to see a lot of areas of activities in the church, an area for children to play, with toys.
The church and grounds are well kept, apart from the separated large cemetery."
