What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Crewe Hall is lauded for its stunning blend of historic grandeur and modern comfort, with guests particularly enjoying the opulent Jacobean architecture and the well-equipped spa facilities. While most experiences are positive, some minor issues with plumbing in older rooms and occasional slow check-in/out processes have been noted.
"This is a great hotel that combines history and grandeur with modern facilities. It has a large conference facility and runs it well. There are rooms in the old part of the hotel as well as in the new extension.
I was fortunate enough to stay in the old part. I had a suite, which was huge. It was very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely although it was let down by the plumbing. The flow from the cold taps was slow. It took a long time to obtain hot water which never really became much more than Luke warm. This was a shame as I was looking forward to a long soak in the full size bath.
Service was good although check and check out was slow.
The location is great for east Cheshire beauty spots and very accessible from the M6."

"Stayed here with my mum and sister. We had a ground floor room which was very accessible. The food in the restaurant good. The leisure facilities were very good, clean and accessible.
The old part of the hotel was wonderful and we enjoyed a coffee in the bar area. The other thing worth noting is they have plenty of Roma car charging points."

"Visited for a spa session and afternoon tea. I felt so refreshed afterwards! The pool was a good size with plenty of room for swimming as well as plenty of loungers poolside. The steam room, jacuzzi and sauna were wonderful and the changing facilities were a good standard. The massage was amazing and so relaxing with a dark room full of water beds to relax before and after. Afternoon tea was served in the main hall and was delicious, served in a beautifully decorated and intimate room with plenty of staff available. The building is incredible and it felt like a total treat!"
