"This is a working college so is not open to the public. It is available for private events & tours by appointment at weekends & during holidays though. I did manage to get a few photos of outside while I was here though.
It is so stunningly beautiful & peaceful here that I'm very tempted to see what courses are available & go back to school!! It would be amazing to go here every day!"

"Just spent the afternoon, Sunday 5th October, at Harlaxton Manor's 1940's open house absolutely brilliant and totally interesting. The people running the separate displays are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful."

"This is a must visit if you like stately homes/historical buildings. We hadn't been aware, until recently that this house was open to the public at all. As it is, there are just a handful of weekends when it's open, the next two being Oct then Dec. Absolutely worth a visit, really really interesting with plenty of information boards giving its history, it's owners lifestyles, it's demise and it's resurrection. Not majorly old, but very ornate. There's no furniture, but the rooms are welcoming, a fabulous grand piano being played in the main room, a cafe, ice-cream counter and beautiful gardens to wander. Some hardstanding carparking as well as grassed area, all very well organised. Absolutely everyone was friendly, helpful and ... Roy Palmer and Sandra (chelsea pensioner and friend) were absolutely delightful - entertaining and funny - made the trip even more fun."
