What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Maes y Pant Marford Quarry Woodland for its extensive, enjoyable walking trails and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for dog owners and families. While some note traffic noise from the nearby bypass and a lack of bins, these are considered minor issues that don't detract from the overall positive experience of exploring this natural gem.
"Far more positives to this lovely little nature reserve than negatives. The area is clean and tidy and has loads of different paths that you can walk on. There is a nice little park for the kids to have a play on and a small pond with an information board to help you identify the wildlife. The only two downsides are the one side of the nature reserve is quite close to the bypass, meaning there is a fair bit of traffic noise. The other small problem is there are no bins to put your dog waste in, although I do understand that they can be a bit unsightly especially somewhere like this it would still be nice just to have one or two dotted around. These are only very small points and in all honesty take nothing away for what was a very enjoyable walk."

"What a great find to walk the dog or just take in nature. Far bigger than I thought. So many little footpaths to explore off the main route. My pup certainly loved it...a paws-up from her. Small free car park. Will certainly visit again for sure."
