What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Greenwich's stations are vital transport hubs, with North Greenwich offering a modern experience near the O2 and Emirates Air Line. However, Cutty Sark DLR faces significant accessibility issues due to long-term escalator failures, and Greenwich Station itself has been criticized for its unwelcoming atmosphere and unreliable facilities. Despite these drawbacks, the stations provide essential access to key London attractions.
"While I was waiting for my friend to come out of the station, I noticed how "unwelcoming" this station and its surroundings were.
It's such an important station for the world (tourism), and it's below the ordinary.
The TFL can put some flowers, work with the neighbour businesses and tenants, and make a colourful appearance to the public.
The staff at the station were having a face like today is their last day on earth, and they are going to die (on the way back, I used this station). This is well well-known attitude of the TFL staff anyway, I bet people nodding their head right now reading this.
Also, there is always some construction or repair ongoing inside the station, why?
I will not be coming back for a day or night out.
The Greenwich itself lost its soul. Very sad."

"Greenwich station is a very convenient integrated National Rail station (trains towards Luton, Cannon Street, London Bridge, Charlton and Woolwich Arsenal, etc) AND DLR station(the little red trains towards Lewisham, Bank and Canary Wharf).
There are toilets near National Rail ticket office but it is not very reliable because it always flooded!
If you visit Maritime Greenwich (National Maritime Museum, Royal Observatory, Greenwich Park) or Greenwich Market, the nearest DLR station is Cutty Sark."

"There are good trains that go to this station, I have had hours of fun watching them on platform 1 and the staff were encouraging."
