"If there is a saturday and you are by chance in Edinburgh, do not hesitate to pass by the Grassmarket. You will find here local food, tasty cheesecakes, fresh fish and much more. Very cosy, small and friendly market with a good choice for every taste."

"The Saturday market at the Grassmarket is not the biggest one you‘ll find but it‘s a nice one nonetheless. It is only open on Saturdays so you should consider that in your plannings. There are quite a few food stands mixed with some „regular“ market stalls. It smelled amazing and everything we tried was really tasty. Between sweet and salty you can find all kinds of snacks/ finger foods from a few different cuisines."

"Farmers market enthusiast & this quaint one didn’t disappoint! Very small in size but packed with lots of diverse ethnic food options. Kenyan ugali pie, spinach & feta roll, and the seafood paella were so yummy! Array of handmade goods & fresh fruits/veggies as well. Definitely a must while in Edinburgh on a Saturday & support the locals :)"
