What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the immersive experience and incredible detail of the Game of Thrones Studio Tour, calling it a must-visit for fans. The authentic sets, costumes, and props bring Westeros to life, offering a deeply emotional connection to the series. While some note it's best appreciated by fans and can be pricey, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many recommending it as a top attraction.
"Visiting the Game of Thrones Studio Tour in Banbridge was something I will never forget. For those who know the world of Westeros, this isn’t just a tour — it’s stepping inside a living story. Walking through the Great Hall of Winterfell, seeing Jon Snow’s Longclaw and Sansa’s wedding dress up close, and feeling the scale of the sets gave me genuine chills. Every detail — from costumes to props — shows how much care went into creating this world. For me, it wasn’t a simple exhibition, it was a deeply emotional experience. That said, this magic is something only fans will fully understand. Without knowing the story, much of the wonder can be lost. This isn’t a tour for young children — they will quickly lose interest. A few tips for those planning the visit: book tickets online in advance (adults around £39.50); there is no parking at the studio itself, so use the designated car park and shuttle; allow at least 2–3 hours to truly explore everything; and bring some extra cash for souvenirs — the shop is irresistible. There is also a café, but expect typical tourist prices. For true fans, the Game of Thrones Studio Tour is more than an attraction — it’s a pilgrimage into the heart of Westeros. Every step is an emotional reminder of why we fell in love with the series. If you love GoT, this is an experience worth travelling for."

"Fabulous "behind the scenes" view of how the series was made. With close up views of the actual costumes and accessories, as well as some of the actual sets "in situ". Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoyed the series, or is interested in the process of making films and grand scale TV shows. We spent about three and a half hours to get round the exhibition. Also some nice decent quality merchandise on the gift shop. Baby comment on the on-site catering, as we were stuffed from a typical full Irish breakfast!"

"The Game of Thrones Studio Tour is an impressive experience for fans and anyone curious about the making of the show. The sets, props, and costumes are incredibly detailed and give a real sense of the scale and craftsmanship that went into the production.
The tour is well organised and easy to follow, with interesting stories and behind the scenes insights throughout. There are also fun interactive elements, like having a video of yourself riding a dragon, a virtual experience as a White Walker, or joining the knights in a scene.
The tour is entirely indoors, so it can be visited any time of the year. There is also a cafe on site for lunch and drinks, which makes it easy to plan a relaxed visit.
Even if you are not a die hard fan, it is worth going for the production quality, immersive atmosphere, and hands on experiences. Overall, it is a well run tour that balances entertainment and insight into the world of Game of Thrones."
