What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
GAIL's Bakery in Greenwich is a popular spot praised for its delicious and fresh baked goods, particularly cinnamon buns and sausage rolls. Visitors often highlight the welcoming staff and pleasant atmosphere, making it a favorite for a coffee and treat. However, some find it to be on the pricier side, and a few have noted issues with freshness on occasion.
"I’m local and live near by, used to be my go to for fresh pastries. However I had an awful experience on Thursday, it was on our way and grabbed a quick breakfast to eat on the way, it was the driest cinnamon bun I had in history. Not only that it tasted old and it was literally hard to bite into. I don’t know what happened to this branch but really ruined my breakfast."

"This is one of my favourite places in London.
There are many options and everything is fresh and delicious. The staff are always helpful and welcoming.
On my last two visits Emre and Ricardo were especially impressive.
When I asked Emre the halal options, he kindly helped us. He had a good idea of what we might enjoy as Turkish people. He recommended us Borekita and another pastry, both were incredibly fresh and tasty.
I also really enjoy the cinnamon buns. They are large, tasty and always fresh. I also like Chai Latte.
The prices are affordable especially considering the quality.
You can dine in or take away. There are many seats both inside and outside. If you choose take away, there’s even a small discount.
You should definitely give this place a try!"
