What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The FUJIFILM House of Photography is praised for its excellent selection of cameras to test and knowledgeable staff, making it a great spot for photography enthusiasts. However, the Santa's Grotto experience has received mixed reviews, with some visitors finding it smaller and less value for money than in previous years, despite positive comments on staff accommodation for special needs.
"From what I recall I don’t think I’ve ever been to a dedicated Fujifilm shop. Now this one is amazing for a flagship store.
It had lots of their insta print and digital cameras on display/testing. Being able to play around with the cameras and see the size differences is great. I was almost tempted to get the X-M5 or the Xhalf but I already got the X-E5 and unfortunately they didn’t have any accessories for it.
Phenomenal shop and I’ll definitely come back in the future to purchase anything Fujifilm related."

"Very disappointed in this year's Santa's Grotto at Fujifilm Covent Garden. This year was at least a third (but more like a quarter) of the size of last year's footprint at the same location - a poor experience indeed. Last year's was fantastic, even magical, which is why we booked to go again this year.
Wish we hadn't. here's why:
- As mentioned, size of the experience was perhaps a quarter of what it was last year (at the same site), far less immersive, far fewer points of interest, and far fewer photo opportunities
- Last year my young son was given a large, gorgeous plush reindeer as a gift by Santa. This year, it was a tiny plush teddy bear with Fujifilm branding on it, the kind you'd win in a 20p machine.
- Last year, a free 4x6 print was included in your admission if you're the kind that doesn't want naff snow globes with your family photo in it (no thanks). This year, no complimentary photos - just £30 for a hurried usher into meet Santa, through a poor 'immersive' experience. Seriously a 4x6 is probably a 20p cost to them. To not offer this for the price of admission is properly Scrooge-y.
Thanks to James and Aman at the front desk though, for being so helpful otherwise, and accommodating us when we were running late for our slot.
We won't be returning next year."

"The shop is nice but the “Santa experience” was a bit scammy. They talk about the wonderful experience and after the child is already excited then they tell you it’s £30. Then, in order to print a photo, you need to pay £15 extra for the digital and then pay again to print. From 0 to £45+ with two unexpected price bumps is definitely a disappointing experience for the parents."
