"Great place to visit, all year round. See the magnificent staircase of Locks and the ships that sail through them towards Loch Ness. Lots of unique gift shops and art work local to the Highlands. Good food in the many pubs, cafes and takeaways catering for every taste. Very popular with tourists on the Great Glen trail.

"What a charming place to visit! The area is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the loch and the historic locks. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing walk, taking in the peaceful atmosphere.
Surrounding the area are plenty of shops offering a variety of local goods at reasonable prices, and you’ll find lots of cozy cafés where you can enjoy a coffee or treat yourself to some delicious ice cream.
It’s a lovely place to explore, shop a little, and just take your time soaking it all in. Highly recommended!"
