What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Foremark Reservoir a beautiful and peaceful place, especially on sunny days, offering lovely walks and picnic spots. However, some are disappointed by changes like the inaccessible beach area and the parking fees, noting it's not as accessible for water activities as it once was.
"Me and my partner went to Calke Abbey and this wasn't far at all, like 15 minutes drive. It rained whilst we was at Calke Abbey so when we visit here it was soggy and wet still.
It was a short walk/visit but quite nice as I have been recommended to come here quite sometime.
As we are a National Trust Member, parking at Foremark Reservoir was free instead of paying £6 that day. I recommend if you come here regularly to get a membership."
