"This park is an absolute gem, especially during the warmer months of spring and summer. The atmosphere is calm and refreshing, making it perfect for a relaxing day outdoors. As you enter, there’s a charming little café right by the main gate ideal for grabbing brunch or a coffee before you start exploring. Beyond that, you’ll find a great selection of restaurants both inside and just outside the park, so food options are never a problem.
One of the best things about this place is how spacious it feels. Whether you're walking solo, with friends, or taking the dog out, there's plenty of room to wander without feeling crowded. Nature lovers will appreciate the abundance of flowers, peaceful ponds, and the gentle river that winds through the park. If you’re up for a bit of adventure, there’s a hidden spring and a small waterfall tucked away easy to find if you follow the map or know where to look.
It’s also a fantastic spot for jogging or casual strolls. The paths are well-kept, and the scenery changes beautifully with the seasons. Whether you're snapping photos, enjoying the wildlife, or just soaking in the quiet, this park offers a perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. Definitely worth returning to again and again."

"Nice place to take a walk or walk your dog, go for a jog or bike ride. Took two push scooters with us, but some paths weren't suitable for them. Various Cafés and eateries close by too. Nice botanical gardens too. Parking seems limited, however we went on a busy Sunday afternoon. Tennis courts available to rent."

"This was just breathtaking. I love scouting for a good walk that is full of nature and a complete opposite experience to a grey and industrial town. This delivered tenfold. The gardens themselves were gorgeous and full of vibrant colours and very brave wildlife. The wetlands was full of discovery and very peaceful to walk through. The open plains of grass and large trees and a beautiful man made river made for another beautiful site. And finally, walking through the tall tree woods just made the entire experience wrap up to something special. I want to move closer to here! I’m doing it!"
