What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors are deeply saddened by the impending closure of this local aviation museum, which is making way for retail space. They praise the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff who offer personal tours, making the small collection feel rich and engaging. The low entry fee is also a significant draw, offering excellent value for a few hours of historical exploration.
"It is sad that this little museum has to close to give way to even more retail space! We are losing places that give local history a chance to be remembered. Sad days when only shopping is what matters and making money is the be all and end all. After today you will only be able to see this museum through people's pictures."

"The LOVELY staff are so welcoming. It's only Β£3 per adult. it is SMALL collection compare to most places however you can be there long as you want and lots to take in. Anyone who's never been and interested in aircraft etc for Β£3 worth going to have a look. Wasn't many there so gives you time to REALLY look about, read things without people getting in your way etc."
Alison Loveridge
"Really great place for a visit staff friendly . Good for 2 or 3 hours stay, plenty of information to read . Staff more than happy to take you around and explain some of the facts and history behind items on display. Check opening times before you go ."
