What Travellers Say

Visitors praise Faversham Market for its historic charm and the quality of its antique and local produce stalls. The town's atmosphere is frequently highlighted as relaxed and stylish, offering a pleasant experience beyond just shopping. Some visitors note that arriving before closing can limit the full market experience.
"Imagery of shop fronts, some stalls and just the local area we walked through. It's a gorgeous stories walk with lots of little details and oddities.
I highly recommend this place for those who are fans of history or just taking a step back into the past for a day. The buildings and architecture have really preserved the entire area as a time capsule for skilled craftsmanship. I'm in awe.
My only sadness was attending an hour before they were ready to close up. It was overcast and thunderous that day and I didn't get to see the market in its full glory just yet. With that said, I can't wait to see you again, Faversham! Hopefully with clement or sunnier skies above"

"Delightful historic market building which still serves as a social hub with its plethora of coffee shops and cafes nearby. With buildings dating back to the 1400's it is an idyllic place to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. I might even venture to say it is more relaxed and stylish that some of its more popular neighbouring towns."

"If I have free time on Saturday, this market is my first choice to come. Picturesque town with Tuesday & Saturday market every week where you can find local yummy fruits/veggie/ game/ farm poultry from local producers. There are flowers and a wide variety of plants/herbs for you to add to your garden that is really good price with big pot (hence good quality). And you can find some vintages, knick-knack on the day. There is also an artisan market connecting the town centre Market Street to Preston street. Love the lady who manufacture ceramics nicely. Especially, on the 1st Sunday of each month (almost), the Antique Market is unmissable. I have been returned many times (>10 times😆) with a pleasure always."
