"Exceeded my expectations with a wonderfully insightful tour. A beautiful home with it's inhabitants and history made to come alive thanks to the enthusiasm and knowledge of the volunteers.

No car park on site, but parking in the village near the church. Or road parking available."

"What a fantastic place this is! It is run with the help of volunteers and the only way round is on a guided tour but it is worth it. Your ticket lasts a year so you can visit as often as you like. You are not just told of John Wesley but of his parents and his siblings. You are told of the person his mother was and how she brought her children up to be well educated. The house is largely unchanged and there are plans to do some of the outdoor spaces. There is a small shop with books including a guide book and toilets. There is a small carpark but there is plenty of parking in Epworth"

"We really enjoyed our trip to Epworth today 😀 The Rectory of the Wesley Family was good, informative & quite child friendly too. The staff were super friendly & helpful.
The kids enjoyed the tour, asked questions & even got to do some crafts at the end. Then we walked round the village, stopped at a nice tearoom for a treat & then visited the beautiful St Andrews Church ⛪️ Where Samuel Wesley was the Rector & where he was buried. We took our dog along so had a good walk round too. 🐾 All in all a good little day out. 👍"
