"Nice bit of woodland which have deer in so keep an eye out! Can get a bit confusing however to know which path to use as there isn't great signage and a fallen tree had obscured the path we needed. Lovely walk up to the top of the hill and onto Cartmel however!"
Lydia Nicholson
"Wonderful and rugged woods. Very good hiking, but can be slippery in wet weather as a lot of the surface underfoot is limestone. Steep in parts but well worth the effort for the views at the summit. Recommended walking."
