Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Pocket Park Eaton Ford for its beautiful natural setting, with lovely river paths and abundant wildlife. It's a great spot for peaceful walks, picnics, and recharging. Some visitors note that it's not a dog park and dogs should be leashed, which is important for wildlife conservation.

"This is a beautiful little place. Lots of wildlife and beautiful paths through some wooded areas by the river. There's also a nearby camping ground should you want to have a little mini break. Contrary to what many think it is, this is not a dog park. It's actually a nature reserve and dogs are meant to be on leashes. This is the same for paxton pits and it says so on their website. They're trying to help the wildlife, like ground nesting birds. Having dogs run through and off the allocated paths is having a negative affect on wildlife. Please keep dogs on leashes or take them to a standard parks for dogs. 🙏"

"A really nice park - lots of open spaces to run jog and walk - lots of trails to follow including the canal path - we did the parkrun - a 5k run at 9am which is on every Saturday at the same time - fab run well organised by a fantastic team of volunteers - a really friendly bunch 🏃‍♀️🏃🏻😊😊"

"Gorgeous area, flat land perfect for picnics with a field for kids to play in. Lots of dog walkers with dogs off lead so if you aren’t too sure of dogs be aware that this is a popular dog area and respect that.

Near the river (small weir) so perfect for a dip/paddle to cool off in the hot weather or to let dogs play in the water.

Plenty of wildlife including herons and kingfishers for the wildlife enthusiast!"
