"Visited here throught my week away in Peebles, to see Micky 17. Upon arrival, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. A lovely lady asked us if we were there to see the film, we showed our tickets and she directed us to another lovely lady! We used the toilets before the film, and they were a little cramped but did the job.
The lady then guided us to the viewing section of the theatre where we would be watching the film and explained to us that there would only be a few of us watching it that night. We had a nice laugh about our expectations of the film to come before it began. The seats were a little cramped together and it felt very homely, however… the sound quality was amazing! Once the trailers began and the lights dimmed - it was like we were just at any other cinema! The sound was great, the visual was great (it was a huge projector screen) and the lady who guided us to our seats was sat at the back screening the film for us.
Overall, this was a very pleasant experience. It felt like we were watching a film with some good friends of ours. Seats a little uncomfortable but that’s such an insignificant detail in the grand scheme of the experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here! (Ps: there was also a little bench outside that was great to sit on whilst we were killing some time, as we were early)"
