"This had the potential to be a wonderful church but it was pretty much ruined through the years, especially once the victorians got there hands on it. There is interest here, such as the external Bell tower, the tombs of Constables parents as well as willy lots grave. Internally the best part is the original floor tiles. Everything else ypu will see in a lot of churches around the country"

"Fascinating historic church without the usual tower, and in its place a very unusual bell cage in the grounds. This was erected in 1531 as a temporary measure in anticipation of a new tower being constructed, but this never happened and so the bell cage stands to this day. The bells are rung on Sundays. The church itself seemed very well kept with beautiful stained glass windows. Contactless terminal took donations inside."
