The restaurant was brilliant. A good selection of food with hidden insect protein or if you are feeling more adventurous, whole bugs. Non-insect food also available!
The pollinator trail was lovely with a spectacular wildflower meadow and fact hunt for kids. We saw a red kite hunting around us!
The museum, bug zoo, nature recovery barn and gallery were all packed with interesting info. We loved learning about the ants and Beth popped out to give us more info.

"We absolutely loved our visit to The Bug Farm! It’s such a unique and educational place — full of fascinating information about insects that kept both kids and adults engaged. The outdoor walk through the fields was peaceful and really well done, and the indoor area with the bark flooring and loads of games was a big hit. The whole experience felt thoughtful, hands-on, and really fun. Highly recommend it for families looking for something different!"

The trail around the site is beautiful and teeming with wildlife if you go looking for it.
There is a cafe that serves warm meals, drinks, and snacks, but it should be pointed out that the menu is mainly plant / insect based, and they only serve oat milk. Personally, I think it's delicious and certainly worth braving it up!"
