However, if you're like me and like to peruse every little detail when scanning through rooms, then you can spend at least an hour in here. There are also helpful staff who tell you some background about Dickens, his life and his connections with Broadstairs and this house.
There is a copy of his will hanging on a wall, alongside a very old map of London, some doll-like figurines displayed of some of his recognisable characters. A very useful poster about Dickens' timeline and London, and other places worth visiting if you're interested in further references.
