"This feels like a love letter to the wild meadow camping at Knepp, it was utterly perfect; a peaceful retreat for a few beautiful September days. With plenty of space for each tent to enjoy the peace and quiet, it never felt crowded and facilities were exactly what we needed with a few lovely surprises along the way (the open air baths were wonderful).
We were lucky enough to see the storks fly overhead in the evening and also in the early morning mist.
The only thing we might cheekily suggest as an added perk for the tented campsite would be a kettle - but we know that isn’t the norm in a campsite!"

These animals play a crucial role in shaping the landscape, creating open glades, promoting plant diversity, and providing habitats for insects and birds. The success of Knepp is a testament to the power of nature when given the space and time to heal and thrive.
Visitors can witness this transformation firsthand on guided safaris, gaining insights into the ecological principles at play. The project serves as a powerful example of how land can be restored to support biodiversity and ecological health, offering hope and inspiration for conservation efforts worldwide.
