"An absolutely beautiful, iconic treasure of Brighton- a must visit for all ages. Walking through the Dyke itself isn't too strenuous and is a really peaceful, grounding experience. I love walking through with my son or on my own- it's great for kids who enjoy nature as insects, wildflowers and birds are abundant. If you aren't able or in the mood to traverse the steep hill, there are large flat walking areas as well which are just as much of a treasure to experience with stunning views. People often fly kites, walk their dogs and just enjoy the space no matter the weather. It's really a special part of Brighton and so easy to get to by hopping on a 77 bus. There is also a pub/hotel which has AMAZING chips which are a must, as well as toilets when needed."
