"Great centre for the family. Blue run is quite tame mainly fire roads, red ups the technical difficulty but okay for a regular rider."

"This is a Forest in Land Scotland Stay the night park up. Its reasonably flat with a stone surface. There are 24hr public toilets ( no chemical waste please ), a fresh water tap is on the right as you enter the main carpark. Great wakling in the area atound the forest and to Dalbeattie. Dogs on a lead in the car park, please. This is generally were mountian bikers start the MTB routes from."

"Lovely family day out mountain biking and having a picnic. Clean and tidy toilets, plenty of reasonably priced shaded parking, and a fantastic green biking trail. Wouldn't recommend it as a beginner's green though as it was long (7.5miles) and had chunks of uphill. My 6 year old was fine but required a few boosts and tows. Hubby and miss 9 did a small section of the blue which was accessible from the green but he did say it was quite tough blue. 😁"

"Plenty of spaces to park, quiet in October half term, not sure about summer. Some great cycling routes in the woods."
