"We went strawberry picking at Kenyon Hall Farm on a lovely Saturday morning with family and friends. We booked our slots online the night before, but I’d definitely recommend booking in advance—especially if you’re going in a group—so you can get multiple slots together.

Each picking slot costs £5.59, plus a small booking fee. The process was easy, and the experience was absolutely worth it.

The strawberries were plentiful, ripe, and BIG—many of them that perfect deep red you hope for. The properly red ones were sweet and delicious—exactly what you want from fresh, local fruit. They provide a small box to collect your berries, which isn’t weighed. But if you ask for an extra box, it will be weighed and priced separately.

Aside from strawberries, there were also raspberries, blackberries, and a few other types of berries available for picking, depending on the season. It’s great to see that kind of variety.

The farm also has a shop with fresh farm food and quality vegetables and fruit for sale—definitely worth a browse after your picking session.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience—fun for all ages and a great way to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family. Highly recommend it if you’re in or around Warrington!"

"We recently visited Kenyon Hall Farm for their pumpkin planting experience, and it was absolutely brilliant!
The price was really reasonable for what you get. A lovely lady from the farm shared so much interesting information about its history, explaining how they used to plant pumpkins and how modern machinery has changed things. She also detailed how pumpkins grow and how long it takes before they're ready to pick.
What made it even better, especially for kids, were the illustrations she used to support her explanations – my 5-year-old was captivated! He absolutely loved it.
As part of the experience, we also got to plant a sunflower seed to take home, which was such a nice touch. My boy is diligently taking care of it and can't wait for it to blossom!

We got incredibly lucky at the end of our pumpkin planting session; they had an unexpected surplus of strawberries and offered us the chance to go strawberry picking. While this experience was a bit more expensive than I'd ideally have liked, it was still such a wonderful spontaneous activity for the family. And seriously, these were the most beautiful strawberries I've ever seen!

Kenyon Hall Farm is clearly beautifully maintained and offers so much. I'd wholeheartedly recommend booking an adventure there – it's a fantastic day out for the whole family."

"We recently visited Kenyon Hall Farm and had such a lovely day out with family and friends. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a mix of fresh air, local produce, and family-friendly activities. The farm shop is packed with seasonal fruit and vegetables, homemade treats, jams, and even fresh buttermilk. We also spotted grapefruits, leafy greens, and other farm-fresh produce, which makes it a fantastic spot for anyone who values quality and locally sourced food.

We spent time in the pick-your-own fields, which was such a fun experience for both adults and children. Depending on the season, you can pick strawberries, raspberries, pumpkins and more, and it’s a really hands-on way to enjoy the farm. The staff were welcoming and helpful, explaining how everything works, and the fields were clean and well organised.

The café is also worth a visit, we enjoyed freshly baked cakes with coffee, and there are plenty of light bites, sandwiches, and hot meals to choose from. Everything tasted fresh and was reasonably priced for the quality.

What makes Kenyon Hall Farm so special is how relaxing and inviting it feels. There’s plenty of safe space for children to play, and it’s such a refreshing escape from city life. Whether you’re stopping by for the farm shop, the café, or a family day in the fields, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again as the seasons change."
