Everyone working there shows great passion for what they do. A big thank you to everyone working there. If it wasn't for all the volunteers like you I would have never been able to have this experience and places like this would be lost for ever."

"Wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. We were staying at Old Oaks caravan park a few miles away and decided to visit East Somerset Railway. The train ride was good fun and the staff were all excellent (Shout out to young Noah, only his 4th day and this young chap was extremely polite and knowledgeable)"

"Staff friendly and helpful
Short run railway a few miles, but z pleasant experience. There is a good sized shop and cafe.
Approximately 5 to ten minute flat walk to the shed.
There is a open engine shed where you can see them working on various items. There is a crane as well there.
There is a small museum, a mini railway runs up the side of the main line for a bit, it has it's own turn table.
Over the tracks was also a model railway."
