I read a bad review about the girl in the café on 27/9/2023 i think it was 🤔 So i decided to find out for myself & as soon as i walked in, i could see from a short distance that the girl serving in the café wouldn't be her. Later i was told that she had left.
Fay was the one in charge & she was really brilliant at her job, very pleasant & easy to communicate with. They don't do toasties or baked tatties 🥔 just some nice cakes 🍰 & biscuits & maybe scones, but i'm not too shure about that.
Anyway i enjoyed their homemade lentil soup 😋
at least it was served not too hot & not too cold & not watery as some café's would have it. It comes in a cardboard type of mug with a lid on top + a small wooden spoon - the side of a T spoon🥄 I also enjoyed a coffee☕ but had to put in a wee satchel of sugar & later i enjoyed their hot 🔥 chocolate. I will bring my friend along the next time so she can take the short walk round the walled garden.
There r a few disabled places for cars🚗 🚗🚗,,. by turning left before the café."
