"Really nice place with a very respectful conversion to among the oldest castles in the UK. Lots of interesting exhibits that give equal coverage to all the different peoples that have occupied it. There are several books in Latin and Middle English dotted around, among numerous other things. You can get a ~2hr visit done for sure, not accounting for the wonderful Castle Park! There's also two other museums close by, focused on natural history and Victorian times. Do check them out too!"
