"Great little spot for a picnic. Fantastic that we paid the £7 for parking but meant that we could also use some of the other National trust car parks in the area, which meant we had an extended day out. The tearooms on site were great, helpful and cater for coeliacs and vegan too...oh and the dogs 😊"
Sam Bennett
"Amazing place, you have the lovely garden to walk round but also peaceful woods and a meadow. A nice place to have a picnic. It was a shame that during most of our visit a petrol strimmer was being used and cut through the peaceful atmosphere but I would love to come back. Staff friendly and helpful as always at national trust."
