"I didn't eat here, and to be honest the beer selection is not the best unless you like cask. (The three cask ales they had on were decent) but the people here are brilliant.
The pub itself has a great location, beautiful views of the Malvern hills and the live entertainment was superb. The place has so much character, it's well worth a visit."

"Visited this establishment on the back of listening to a podcast. Haunted Worcestershire Pubs. Ghost tales by the fireside.
What a wonderful place full of olde worlde atmosphere, the kind of pubs I enjoy.
One of only 2 pubs built on consecrated ground apparently.
Sat outside in the warm sunshine with a pint.
If you have never been to this pub do yourself a favour and visit, its fabulous and a warm welcome is awaiting you."

"What a gem. We were visiting for a family event and needed a stop to get food before accommodation became available. Had googled for a pub that is dog friendly and The Mug came up and Im gold it did. Definitely dog friendly.
The ale (Black Sheep) was spot on, a great pint, and this coming from a landlord.
Food was humble and basic and exactly what we needed.
Thank you so much"
