Reviews Summary
The Churchill Arms is a beloved London institution, celebrated for its stunning, ever-changing floral exterior and spectacular Christmas decorations. Visitors rave about the unique atmosphere, packed with Churchill memorabilia, and the surprisingly delicious and reasonably priced Thai food served in the back. While it can get very busy, the charm and character of this historic pub make it a highly recommended stop for both locals and tourists. [^Review]
"Such an adorable spot. We grabbed 2 pints of some tasty raspberry cider just to try out the place and it was very busy on a midday Friday. Enjoyed our pints outside since it was a beautiful day lots of folks outside. The interior is packed with memorabilia and has some tables but limited seating if it is busy. Outside has some beautiful flowers along the building. Would definitely come back to enjoy the Thai spot out back."

"Went here after seeing it featured in YouTube travel videos.
It truly is beautiful and interesting to look at inside and out, but like my friend said, "What is their theme? It's like they just did all of it!"
From the outside, it looks beautiful because it's covered in flowers.
When you walk inside, there's a bar and there's British flags hanging from the ceiling and Winston Churchill art on the walls.
I said, "Now this is a proper British pub!"
And my friend who is British said, "This is a British pub that's gone over the top!"
I read that this is actually one of the oldest pubs in London being established in 1750, and was frequented by Winston Churchill's grandparents who the pub is named after.
I had made a reservation for dinner, so we were led to the back where there were Thai flags hanging from the ceiling and plants as well, to the point it looked like a jungle.
The dishes were all Thai and I read that this is one of the first restaurants to serve Thai food in London in the 1990's, and it all started with a chef who was Thai.
I ordered vegetarian pad thai. It was good, but more noodles than vegetables.
The price and portions were reasonable.
Overall, this was a good experience that I'd recommend."

This culinary fusion began in the 1990s, making it one of the first pubs in the city to offer authentic Thai cuisine. The back dining area, often described as a jungle-like oasis, provides a vibrant contrast to the traditional pub setting.
