"Excellent museum giving a real feel for the build up to D Day and US landings on Omaha beach. Friendly and welcomibg staff, all in US, German and British uniforms gave it a real authenticity.
Plenty of equipment to get in or handle and lots of descriptions and photos of the landing. Very sobering to read what the men went through.
Thoroughly recommend a visit for a couple of hours"

"Spent a fabulous couple of hours here today supporting weymouth armed forces weekend. It was fabulous to see, and sit within, vehicles from the first and second world wars and speak with the present owners. The museum was Excellent, very interactive and well worth a visit, we will be returning. It’s so important to remember our history and educate the younger people about why our country remains free (Even though freedom of speech is now strictly governed ) The bravery and strength of our forces Will never be forgotten, It’s our history that makes us proud to be British."
