"We were very lucky to have one of the museum volunteers ( Matthew) take us on a tour of the museum. It was a very interesting place to visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed the informative tour. It was lovely to meet a number of the volunteers who were very friendly and as well as happy to share their knowledge, enthused us with their passion for the museum and exhibits.
We spent around 3 hours there, as there is a lot to see. Interesting to see how this all links with Manchester too

The volunteers were so knowledgeable, so helpful and it was so lovely to be shown around and to tell us what things did, and how things worked. We would recommend this museum for all ages.
There is a café, which we didn't have time to go to this time, but hopefully in the future, the menu looked lovely and good pricing too.
