What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Burnham and Berrow Golf Club, particularly the Championship Course, often calling it a 'gem' and a 'finest by far' links experience. The courses are consistently praised for their excellent condition, fast fairways, and challenging yet enjoyable layouts. The friendly staff, welcoming clubhouse, and the option of staying at the Dormy House further enhance the overall positive experience.
"Oh my goodness what a treat. We were three couples and we stayed in the Dormy house. Just perfect. Only minor issue was the USBs in the sockets didn't work. The course was magnificent, great condition and the fairways were running fast following the hot weather. The wind was kind which made a tough course playable. The food and service in the clubhouse was good and the Head professional and her team could not have been more kind or welcoming, good practice failities and a gem of a starter who briefed us well. Thank you B&B, highly recommended and will definitley return."

"Played both courses, Channel and Championship, both challenging and in great condition despite the vandalism to the greens some weeks before.
Staff provided a warm welcome and food was very good and drinks reasonably priced.
I would definitely visit again."

""I had waited a long time to play on the Championship Course at Burnham and Berrow and it didn't disappoint" I am the Secretary/ Organiser of a small golf society from Derbyshire and we recently visited this splendid venue on our annual golf weekend. From the moment I entered the Pro shop to introduce myself I was made to feel welcome and I was given all the information we needed for our round and the head Pro was most helpful in selecting the appropriate course for our party and advised which hole for Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive. The clubhouse and staff were fantastic and some of our party had some food which they all enjoyed. We then made our way to the first tee where we were greeted by Martin the starter who again was most informative about the course and the correct lines to use on the blind shots etc. Then we took to the course itself and what a course it is. I have been organising our weekend society breaks for many years now and we have played at many links courses all over the country but pretty much every one our members agreed that this course was the finest by far. It was an incredible experience to say the least but sadly my golf didn't quite match our surroundings but the day will live long in the memory. I have a feeling that our group will be insisting on a return sooner rather than later and I can't wait.
Anybody who gets the opportunity to play on this incredible track they should grab it with both hands."
