"Went for a little stroll on the head with our cockapoo and ended up walking for hours! What a fantastic find . Just be aware of the cliff edges to the rocks below. Its about a 100m fall, so please keep puppies and kids on leads ."
Geoff Steyn
"Great for birdwatching at the end of May - kestrels, swallows, guillemots, gannets and a large cliffside seabird colony.
Park in the nearby car park and walk up past the excellent Guardhouse Cafe to the peninsular with the lighthouse on. Road access from Brixham and a bit tight for 400 or so metres where might need to reverse for about 20m for oncoming cars, especially if busy.
Can't seem to access the lighthouse because it is fenced off but you can get close. Great nearby compass map of the coastline and distances. Probably worth taking a pair of binoculars for birds, dolphins or the Dorset coastline."
David Wood
"Nice view from the cliff. 10 minutes hike from the carpark. Guardhouse cafe with food drinks and clean toilets halfway."
