"Went here today via steam train from minehead… we already knew about this place it’s brilliant, very small but absolutely packed with things to look at and learn!, spent nearly 2 hrs there before realising it!…. Ended with a lovely cup of tea too.., lovely friendly ppl really worth a visit and not far from train station….. such a shame it’s not advertised at the station, poor show from them I think!. We used google street maps and only few minutes walk and great pub with very nice food on the way 😉
Highly recommended"

"What a wonderful find. A delightfully layed out museum with very well kept gardens. We especially liked the period agricultural & war displays, adding a nice touch to the museum.
The tour was finished in their lovely cafe. Light food including fresh cakes & scones, washed down with tea coffee all at very reasonably prices. All served by a very welcoming member of staff.
Whilst there, we discovered an elderly couple who had travelled by bus & the West Somerset railway. We went by car with the car park only a couple of minutes from entrance.
We weren't disappointed by the mill not working as everything is all in place anyway showing all the machinery as it was.
A great visit, which we would highly recommend."
