"Visited here the last Friday in June as part of a group visit. The main building is not.open to the public however the gardens are and they're lovely to walk around and take in all the scents of the flowers in bloom. There is a small fountain that is surrounded by avenue of lavender. There's a lovely meadow area which was full of butterflies and various bees. The tea room was nice and reasonably priced. You can take a 10 minute walk down to Beeleigh falls which, tide dependent is nice to view.
Do check website for opening days and times. Admission is via precooked ticket only."

"Fantastic place to visit if you like old buildings, interesting gardens and good views. This was our first visit, on the last open day of the year. There were several things that pleasantly surprised me 1) The very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable staff who seemed genuinely happy to be there and to help. This was right from the entrance with a jolly young man welcoming and guiding you to the parking area 2) The cafe served nice, limited food and drinks at reasonable prices 3) The plants section at the exit was amazing value, again manned by lovely staff. 4) It seems you are free to wander everywhere apart from a small number of roped off areas, I hope the grass stands up to it in poor weather
I hope this first season under the new owners is a success, we'd love to visit again in spring if they do decide to open earlier in 2026? It's a great place to visit for a couple of hours or more at a very competitive price (pre-booked)."
